"Trump and Harris Opt for Separate Network Town Halls: FOX vs. CNN"
Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have both committed to attending town halls, though they will not be participating in the same event.
Trump, a Republican presidential candidate, is set to appear in a pre-recorded town hall hosted by Fox News on Tuesday. This event will focus on "women's issues" as Trump aims to regain support from female voters, a key demographic in the contest against his Democratic opponent.
An upcoming event, set to air on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Eastern, will feature a female-only audience and tackle key issues such as the economy, abortion, immigration, and health care. Although it will not be broadcast live, the hour-long session will be moderated by Fox's Harris Faulkner.
Former President Donald Trump recently declined debate invitations from both Fox News and CNN to go head-to-head with Vice President Kamala Harris in mid-October. Despite repeated offers from both networks, Trump made it clear in a Wednesday post on Truth Social, stating emphatically, "THERE WILL BE NO REMATCH." Harris had accepted CNN's debate proposal but had not responded to Fox News' invitation by Thursday's deadline.
In ABC’s presidential debate on September 10, the two candidates faced each other just once. Trump claimed victory, despite most declaring Harris the winner. When asked about scheduling more debates, Trump responded that it was "too late" as early voting had already begun in several states. Traditionally, final debates were held in mid to late October.

Fox News also extended an open invitation to Harris to participate in a town hall event.
Harris to Attend CNN Town Hall
Following former President Donald Trump's appearance at a Fox News town hall, Vice President Kamala Harris is set to participate in a CNN-hosted town hall.
While Trump declined an invitation to participate in a CNN presidential debate, the network extended offers for separate town hall events to both Trump and Harris. The Harris campaign swiftly accepted CNN's invitation, with the event scheduled to take place later this month.
Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to appear with Anderson Cooper on CNN for a live town hall on October 23, featuring voters from Pennsylvania. This event will be broadcast live.
"While Trump may be avoiding voters, Vice President Harris is eager to share her vision for a New Way Forward for the nation. She gladly accepts CNN's invitation for a live, televised town hall on October 23 in Pennsylvania," said Jen O’Malley Dillon, Harris-Walz campaign chair, in a statement to CNN. See more
